ODP Business Solutions – Temporary Fuel Surcharge

Dear Colleagues,

ODP Business Solutions has notified customers that, due to ongoing fuel and transportation cost increases, a temporary fuel surcharge may have begun appearing on orders as early as May 16, 2026.

At this time, departments may begin seeing an additional surcharge line on applicable ODP orders and invoices. The supplier has indicated this surcharge is temporary and will be reviewed periodically based on market conditions.

What departments should know:

  • The surcharge is being implemented by the supplier in response to increased delivery and transportation costs
  • Charges may now appear on PCard orders placed through ODP
  • Existing pricing and catalog items remain available, but total order costs may increase slightly depending on the order
  • Procurement Services will continue monitoring supplier communications and any related impacts

Departments are encouraged to continue using standard purchasing practices and, where practical, consider consolidating orders to help minimize delivery-related charges.
