Clarification on Payroll Certification Release Dates and Coverage
Dear Coordinators,
This follow-up communication is to clarify the coverage of the current Payroll Certification (PRC) release. While initial deployment information was shared in the April 16 announcement, we understand that questions have emerged about which awards are included in this first cycle.
This message is intended to clarify the certification end dates and award segments that are part of the current PRC release.
What’s Included in This Release:
Payroll certifications have been released for awards with certification end dates on or before June 30, 2024. This means any portion of an award falling within July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024 may be included in this cycle—but only if it ends on or before June 30, 2024.
Example:
Award Project Period: 9/1/2022 – 8/31/2024
Key Point:
If your award’s certification period ends after June 30, 2024 (e.g., August 31, 2024), it is not part of this release. It will instead be included in a future cycle covering July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025.
