Office of the President announced incremental changes to meal rates associated with Business Meetings and Entertainment covered under UC Business & Finance Bulletin BUS-79 (see attached). The revised business meetings and entertainment meal maximum per person amounts are applicable for expenses incurred on or after the effective dates noted below:

As a reminder, these amounts include the cost of food and beverages, labor, sales tax, service, and delivery charges. The cost of room rental, room set-up fees, media rental, and decorations, etc., are not included in the per-person cost unless these costs cannot be separated by the vendor. The Accounting Office is coordinating with ITS on the necessary updates to ePay.
Please note, the daily Travel Meals & Incidental (M&I) limits have not changed and continue to be different than the Business Meeting & Entertainment limits; please refer to BFB G-28 for additional information.
