Effective April 15, 2019, the California Attorney General added South Carolina to the list of prohibited states. The following states are currently subject to California’s ban on state-funded and state-sponsored travel:
- Alabama
- Kansas
- Kentucky
- Mississippi
- North Carolina
- Oklahoma
- South Carolina
- South Dakota
- Tennessee
- Texas
Please ensure travelers in your department are aware of these restrictions. The updated UC FAQ is attached for your reference.
