Director of Procurement, Business Contracts, Accounts Payable and Travel

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Ellery Triche as the Director of Procurement, Business Contracts, Accounts Payable and Travel in the division of Business & Financial Services. Ellery joins UCR after a nation-wide search and extensive interview process involving campus organizational units as well as Office of the President. Ellery brings progressively responsible, strategic procurement experience to the position. Ellery has a M.S. in Contracts and Acquisition Management from Florida Institute of Technology, a M.A. in Organization Management from the University of Phoenix, and a B.S. in Business and Management from the University of Maryland. Ellery is a Certified Purchasing Manager under the Institute for Supply Management. His appointment is effective December 12, 2016 at 60% time increasing to 100% time on January 14, 2017.

Ellery’s key responsibilities include developing the strategy and implementation plan for our campus "Procure-to-Pay" business model; better integrating the procurement, accounts payable, and business contracts functions to streamlined processes; and representing UCR on the system-wide Supply Chain 500 initiative. These efforts complement the Vice Chancellor of Business & Administrative Services’ ongoing Organizational Excellence and Lean Planning initiatives and will create a more efficient and seamless customer experience.
