Computing & Communications and Business & Financial Services are thrilled to announce the deployment of an optimized version of UCRFSTotals. After several months in development and pilot user testing, the software is ready for campus-wide deployment. This version represents a significant upgrade to the existing web version of UCRFSTotals with many new features and improved functionality. Listed below are some of the available enhancements:

  • Streamlined query criteria selection to quickly build and create queries
  • Multiple queries and result grids can be generated within a single session
  • Additional query management options: Edit, rename, delete and share user queries
  • Better Pivot Table functionality for analyzing result grid data
  • Improved performance for queries returning larger datasets
  • Enhanced User interface
  • Expanded responsive design

Two Open House sessions have been scheduled to demo the new version and all UCRFSTotals users are encouraged to attend.

  • March 29, 10 - 11 AM, HUB 302 North
  • March 29, 3 - 4 PM, HUB 302 North

Deployment of the new version will automatically be available on 03/30/16 by selecting UCRFSTotals from the R'Space Authorized Applications.

Please note: Saved queries will not be transferred from the old version to the new version. However, a listing of previously saved queries (Legacy Queries) will be available with details of the query criteria so the query can be easily recreated in the new version (instructions will be available upon deployment). For security purposes, the new web-based version of UCRFSTotals will ultimately replace all previous versions (web and non-web) of the software.

Again, all UCRFSTotals users are encouraged to attend an Open House session to learn about the new and improved UCRFSTotals. Please send any comments or questions to ucrfsfeedback@ucr.edu.
