During the past several years, the number of electronic systems supporting campus sponsored programs efforts has grown significantly. With the goal of enhancing the ease with which UCR faculty and staff access these important tools, Research and Economic Development (RED), Accounting Office, and Computing & Communications (C&C) are pleased to announce a new, streamlined method for utilizing these systems.

This new system is known as the PAMIS Portal (Proposal and Award Management Information System), and it enables access to all RED and Accounting sponsored programs tools from a single web interface. The PAMIS Portal is accessed through R'Space (when you visit R'Space, please look for PAMIS within the authorized applications portlet); this new functionality will be available the week of July 1, 2013. Clicking on the R'Space PAMIS link will provide access to the following applications (based on authorizations established by departmental System Access Administrators (SAA)):

  • eCAF (Electronic Campus Approval Form)
  • PreAward Request System
  • eAward (formerly known as PAMIS)
  • ARRA (American Recovery and Reinvestment Act) Reporting System
  • HRRB (Human Research Review Board)
  • PIWRS (Principal Investigator Web Reporting System)
  • Annual Payroll Certification System
  • PI Award Closed/Expiring Funds

Please note: As part of the new PAMIS Portal deployment, the software application traditionally known as PAMIS has been renamed to "eAward." The eAward functionality remains unchanged. Users can continue to use eAward to view scanned award documents, view Notices of Awards and establish award budgets.

Additional information on the PAMIS Portal is available at http://cnc.ucr.edu/pamisportal/. Given the increased number of campus systems supporting sponsored programs, the goal of the new PAMIS Portal is to make accessing these various systems more efficient and effective.
